Bernie' mind was mediocre, but now I can see how it came across that way. I apologize for that, but I guess I thought it was kind of obvious that Bernie does NOT have a mediocre mind. He is sort of the resident guru on this site. Damn Internet. I was referring to the general resistance to original thought. I do believe in expert opinion and this site is invaluable for that. But I also have found many times that dogma is self perpetuated on forums such as these, esp where no one is really held accountable. That said, I am not trying to be different for difference sake. When I THINK about my MBC set up, I can't possibly see how different waste gate hoses' lengths would matter at all. After I posted this, I actually found the detailed written instructions for my Hallman MBC, including a section for twin turbos. There isn't any mention about keeping the wastegate hoses lengths equal. There isn't any mention of splitting the boost source hose that leaves the MBC back into two seperate hoses, either. I am waiting for some technical feedback from Marc Hallman. My car is running great right now, the boost is set and the MBC is in the middle. Unless I hear a compelling reason otherwise, my next plan is to install the MBC with only one hose crossing the midline of the engine (from the far wastegate), and then drive the car again and see what's happening.
